Rakuwakai Inter-facility Shuttle Bus (Free)

A shuttle bus is available from Rakuwakai Otowa Hospital to "Yamashina Station area", "Yamashina Danchi area", "Between Rakuwakai Otowa Hospital and Rakuwakai Otowa Kinen Hospital", and "Nishino, Kurisuno, Kawata areas".

Notes and Requests Regarding Usage

  • Please refrain from boarding if you are not using our hospital.
  • This shuttle bus is operated by one person and cannot provide assistance with boarding or alighting. Those requiring assistance should board with an attendant.
  • Our shuttle bus is not equipped with safety devices to secure wheelchairs, strollers, etc., so please refrain from using them.
  • Also, as seating is limited, those with large luggage that occupies a seat may be asked to refrain from boarding.
    *This shuttle bus is treated as a private vehicle. Children under 6 years old require a child seat and therefore cannot board.
  • It is dangerous to board or alight at locations other than designated bus stops.
  • There may be delays due to traffic conditions such as congestion. (Especially on Saturdays and the day before public holidays)
  • Not in service on Sundays, public holidays, and during the year-end and New Year holidays (December 30th to January 3rd).
  • Please refrain from eating, drinking, and using mobile phones inside the bus.

For those visiting by car

Please use the parking lot on the south side of the hospital.

  • Please refrain from parking in surrounding facilities or on the street, as this will cause inconvenience to everyone.
  • Please note that the two tunnels under National Route 1 are one-way.

    • Up to 3 hours [Free] Reception Slip is required at the general reception of Building A/B or the outpatient building.
    • Exceeding 3 hours [Charged] 100 yen per hour (Maximum 990 yen for 24 hours)
  • Inpatients

    Parking for inpatients during their hospital stay is not permitted. The parking lot is available 24 hours for general use and visitors. (Fees are as follows)

    • Day of admission/discharge pick-up/drop-off, surgery day, day of visit due to contact from our hospital [Free](The parking ticket requires the ward manager's seal. Please inform the ward manager)
    • Family members of inpatients who visit daily [Charged]
      A monthly pass system (pass card) is available on a monthly basis.
      Pass card: 7,000 yen (tax included)
      If you wish to use it, please inform the ward.
      (Reception hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Visitors (to patients)

    • 100 yen per 30 minutes (Maximum ¥990 for 24 hours)
      • Important Note for Visitors:
        To receive the discounted visitor rate, please ensure you get your parking ticket validated (discount processed) at the hospital reception/information desk. If the ticket is not processed, the standard public rate will apply.
  • General Public

    • 300 yen per 30 minutes (Maximum ¥1,500 for 24 hours)
